Bodiam may not be so well-known or as large as other castles but it lacks nothing in terms of scenery or character.
We swam 500m around the castle moat, had a short dash to the transition zone and then were out on the bike for 22km around local villages (and hills). The 6km run was off-road, along the River Rother and heading back to the finish by the castle.
