Indoor Sky Dive

A year ago Laura’s Dad heard that Zoe Ball was going for a world record for the number of high-fives in a vertical indoor wind tunnel and she was unable even to make 15. So… never making things easy for themselves Laura and Ali, who had never been in a vertical wind tunnel, decided to give it a whirl.

Zoe’s instructors had set a record of 196 and things weren’t looking promising. However, with the help from the wonderful Airkix instructors the RNF team managed an impressive 140(ish!). Although this is not enough to beat the record their instructors managed to get over 300 on their behalf.

We’re still waiting for confirmation as to the validity of our claim from Guinness World Records so watch this space!

You can have a look at a video of our comical attempts to master the vertical wind tunnel (and how you’re meant to do it!)
